Task: Skin care is an extremely competitive brand sector, dominated by large spending brands enjoying full distribution across high street retail partners and online stores. Generating brand stand out in the category to spark awareness and consideration required a fresh way of thinking.
Campaign context: silicol®skin has a unique mode of action physically binding nasties from the skin. Its key ingredient, colloidal silica works naturally to adsorb irritants, impurities and bacteria. These may be the cause of problem skin. Generating awareness of these unique properties to a selective audience was required to begin the process of generating stand out and prompting positive market share.
Solution: Utilise Amazon marketplace first party data to target active considerers and recent buyers of similar products and also beauty products to present silicol®skin.
The campaign consisted of two stages: Awareness by tracking consumer market intent and consideration re-targeting consumers active in the category and directing them to the Amazon brand store to drive conversion. On social media the assets were driving traffic to Amazon and Drugstore.
